Fibre Types...	E. camaldulensis is grown in plantations in Morocco and Northern Thailand.
Fibre Properties...	Fibre Length 0.8-0.9mm Fibre Width 14-16µm Wall Thickness 2.5-4.0µm Fibre Coarseness 75-85µg/m

Typical Pulp Properties...   E.camaldulensis has the shortest length:width ratio of the main paper making eucalyptus species and kraft pulps produced from this species are the easiest to refine. Care must be taken to avoid over refining this pulp, otherwise runnability problems may occur. Generally E. camaldulensis pulps are significantly lower in strength properties compared to E.globulus or E. grandis, but have a higher opacity and bulk. Hardwood pulps are available from North Africa either with "enhanced opacity", or "enhanced strength".

Typical Uses...   E. camaldulensis kraft pulps may be used in a wide range of coated or uncoated printing and writing or tissue grades in a similar way to other eucalyptus species to promote opacity, bulk, smoothness or formation. Care should be taken with E. camaldulensis pulp in grades were the strength properties are critical.
